Account Guidelines
In Search of:
We are seeking high quality trucking accounts with good loss experience and low accident frequency.
Drivers should be experienced with good MVRs and financials, hauling most non-hazardous commodities.
Most of the accounts we write operate 1-300 power units.
We will consider larger accounts if they are superior quality and are priced on a guaranteed cost basis.
We can consider trucking accounts operating on a local, intermediate or unlimited long haul basis.
Most of the accounts we write operate on a regional or unlimited radius basis.
We are seeking accounts that have performed well over the last several years, with particular emphasis on low accident frequency.
We prefer drivers with at least 5 years experience and good MVRs.
We will consider drivers with fewer than 5 years experience with very good MVRs.
We can give consideration to most non-hazardous commodities/operations.
Here are some general guidelines:
- General Dry Freight
- General Flat Bed Commodities — lumber, building materials, etc.
- Agricultural Commodities — grain, produce, etc.
- General Refrigerated Commodities
- Steel haulers — pipe, rebar, coils, etc.
- Container Haulers
- Seafood
- Auto Haulers
- Dump Operations
- Livestock Haulers
- Oversize/Overweight Heavy Machinery
The following commodities or operations will not be considered:
- Any hazardous commodity requiring $5,000,000 limits
- Anhydrous Ammonia
- Chemicals
- Explosives
- Brokerage Operations
- Tow Trucks
- Lease & Rental Operations
- Waste Haulers
- Propane
- Scrap Haulers
